Spirit of Shankly are proud to support a benefit night for former players of the Bill Shankly era: Tommy Lawrence and Chris Lawler.

Liverpool FC’s history is crammed with some of the football’s most iconic names – Spirit of Shankly bearing one of them. But not all of our former players enjoy the riches of today’s game. This evening is a chance to hear stories and anecdotes from players who were instrumental in laying the foundations for LFC’s success – and help some of them out at the same time.

Peter Hooton will lead a Q&A session with Lawrence and Lawler, along with other stars from the club’s past, including Ian Callaghan, Ray Clemence and Phil Boersma. Plus there’s entertainment, buffet and late bar.

All ages are welcome and the event takes place on Friday 11 August at the Devonshire House Hotel. SOS have taken a table and are offering 12 of our members a chance to go along.
