The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) is appealing to witnesses to assist in its ongoing investigation into the conduct of West Midlands police during the original Hillsborough disaster investigation.

The IPCC is asking fans who gave witness statements to West Midlands Police in 1989 to get in touch with them, to provide brief information at this stage.

If you did not give a statement at the time, but believe you have information that may assist the ongoing investigation, the IPCC are also asking you to make contact.
