From our last AGM
EARLIER this year at our AGM, members voted in favour of a motion calling for Spirit of Shankly to join “the thousands of fans worldwide in adding their voice to the campaigns ‘Game over Israel’ and ‘Show Israel The Red Card.”
Back in 2024, SOS made a donation to support the work of Ana Jeelani, a paediatric orthopaedic surgeon at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, when she travelled to Gaza to treat people there. You can read about Ana’s experience here or watch her interview with Channel 4 News here.
Our support for this work was not a political act or message, but one of humanity. Like so many, we have been appalled by what we have seen.
The motion at our 2026 AGM called:
“That the Spirit of Shankly joins the thousands of fans worldwide in adding its voice to the campaigns Game Over Israel and Show Israel the Red Card.”
