SOS AGM 2026

The Spirit of Shankly AGM is taking place on Saturday, 31 January 2026, from 2:30pm at The Church, Oakfield Road, Anfield L4 0UF.

Guest speakers are Jenni Hicks and Charl Hennessy, who will talk about and provide an update on the Hillsborough Law and its progress through Parliament. Unfortunately, David Conn, has had to pull out due to work commitments.

The meeting is open to members and non-members.

Voting on motions and management committee elections will take place after the meeting with members only.

For those who can’t attend, highlights of the AGM will be available on YouTube after the meeting concludes.

Please complete the registration form below to stand for election, submit a motion or submit a question.

If you would like to propose a motion or put yourself forward for election, please complete the form by 11am on Monday, January 19, 2026.

The meeting is open to all, but please note only up-to-date paid members are eligible to propose a motion, stand for election and vote in the subsequent online vote. Motions and nominations for election require a seconder, who must also be an up-to-date member.

News and updates about the AGM will be posted over the coming weeks in the news section.

The final agenda including motions, election nominations and required paperwork for the AGM will be published before proceedings begin.

A message from our new Chair, Joe Blott

“As confirmed at the Spirit of Shankly AGM in March, the chair Jay McKenna is standing down.
