Following on from the recent announcement of Everton FC’s planned move to Kirkby being rejected, the inevitable talk of a proposed ground share between the two clubs has re-surfaced. We would like to take this opportunity to again make clear our stance on such an issue. At a Spirit Of Shankly EGM in September 2008, Union members voted unanimously against the idea of sharing a stadium with Everton FC. This stance remains unchanged, despite the best efforts of those in the media and in positions of influence trying to encourage it. Listen to what the fans are saying – No ground share!
