The Spirit of Shankly Management Committee last night met with Liverpool FC Managing Director Christian Purslow. Although we only had a limited amount of time with Mr Purslow we were able to focus on the major issues of Club Finances, Investment, the Stadium and transfer finance policy.

Mr Purslow was candid about a number of matters and supplied us with a significant amount of new information that will be of great interest to our members. We are keen to report exactly what he had to say to us so members can make their own judgement about the current position of the Club.

A full note of the meeting was taken and it was arranged between the Management Committee and Mr Purslow that an agreed minute of what took place will be organised before it is circulated to our members. We hope to have the draft with him over the weekend and will then await his agreement for its release which we hope will be next week.
