Solidarity with Kop Outs
Pride in Liverpool returns on Saturday, 27 July, and Spirit of Shankly will again march alongside our friends and colleagues Kop Outs.
Pride is a time of celebration for the LGBTQ community and culture, and the march is an integral part of the free weekend festival. It’s an opportunity for the city to show a united front with thousands marching together in solidarity and support against prejudice, injustice and hate.
The theme for 2024 is Be Heard which aims to ensure all groups within this diverse community have a platform to air their voice.
We are proud to stand alongside Kop Outs in their work to tackle discrimination in football and show active allyship by speaking out against hate crimes.
We encourage all our members and supporters to strive for the rights of all LGBTQ people to live their lives absolutely and without persecution. Join us on Saturday.
