We have worked in partnership with LFC, Merseyside Police and the City Council and all our messaging has been joint, always focusing on the safety of the public.

We have seen some have chosen to ignore the social distancing guidance and risk public safety.

We understand wanting to celebrate, but Covid-19 has not gone away.

Jurgen Klopp has said, when it is safe to do so, we will work to arrange a victory parade when everyone can come together to celebrate.

Until that time the safety of our city and our people continues to be our number-one priority.
