The Spirit of Shankly Management Committee can confirm that the Annual General Meeting of the Union will take place at 7pm on Tuesday 19th March 2019, in The Casa, Hope Street, Liverpool City Centre.
Whilst AGM’s have usually been held on a match-day, the availability of fixtures means that we will be holding this meeting midweek. However, given the important discussions to take place, we want to ensure it takes place in a timely manner.
The AGM will cover elections to the Management Committee, the Union accounts and motions from members, as well as reporting on the Union’s activities since our last AGM.
Immediately after the usual AGM business and discussions, we will be hosting a Question and Answer session with invited panellists to discuss the key issues we face as supporters. We hope this will help inform supporters and shape our work to come.

If members would like to propose a motion for the AGM, they can do so by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org, who can provide details of the process.
If any members would like to put themselves forward to be on the Management Committee, they can contact email@example.com, who can provide details of the process or arrange for a discussion if there are any questions about what it involves.
The deadline for motions and nominations to the Management Committee is 5pm on Friday 15th March 2019. Motions and nominations submitted after this will not be put to the membership. Voting on all motions and nominations will take place online after the AGM.
We would encourage all members, and supporters, to attend the AGM and subsequent Q & A, to enable a full discussion on important supporter issues.
