The Football Supporters’ Association (FSA) have invited Spirit of Shankly to an online VAR briefing event on Tuesday 16th February 2021.

Former referee Mike Riley, now general manager of the Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL) group, will give a presentation relating specifically to VAR issues and cover such subjects as procedures and processes of decision making, interpretation and effectiveness. Mike will be joined by Adam Gale-Watts (PGMOL deputy general manager). PGMOL are responsible for 550 match officials across the Premier League, EFL and non-league.

Ahead of the meeting SOS are keen to gauge the opinions and thoughts of our members and LFC supporters on VAR.
