A fundraising event is taking place at the The Sandon pub on Saturday 17th September 2011 in memory of legendary Liverpool fan Stevie Gill (Gilly).
Spirit of Shankly Under 14 football team
Spirit of Shankly FC, formed in 2008, are now entering their fourth season. The team were started with an inclusive Corinthian attitude which has been the ethos of the team ever since. The team is now looking to rebuild the squad to try and improve on previous seasons and we are encouraging new players to join the team.

This Saturday, Liverpool supporters, with the backing and support of the Hillsborough Justice Campaign, will be setting out to remind fellow supporters and the watching world of the on-going boycott of the S*n newspaper.
Statement about ongoing Stadium situation
Following the statement from Liverpool FC about the ongoing stadium situation, Spirit Of Shankly would like to reaffirm its position. Under a period of new management and direction the current owners, FSG, and Managing Director, Ian Ayre, should be afforded the time and opportunity to make the right decision for the Club, its supporters and the local community.
Anthony Walker Foundation festival
On Saturday 9th July, Spirit of Shankly will have a stall at the Anthony Walker Foundation Festival. A one day festival of sport, music, art and education at Mountford Hall, University of Liverpool.
Spirit of Shankly launches Child / Youth Sections
Spirit of Shankly is pleased to announce the launch of our Child and Youth Memberships. These will cover all young supporters under the age of eighteen and will be completely free of charge.
