Concerns with the club sanctions and banning process
Spirit of Shankly are aware of reports relating to an ongoing case between a Liverpool fan and the club. This concerns LFC's decision to sanction and ultimately ban the supporter. We have spoken with the person involved, to establish the facts of the situation, and are seeking to help bring about a resolution. The public facts of the case raise many questions and will concern supporters as a whole.

A new grassroots initiative '#morethenastadium' is to be launched Tuesday 29 January with the aim of reminding supporters of the match day impact they have on the Anfield area and its residents.

Sean Cox appeal total announced
Spirit of Shankly can today confirm that a total of £59,104 has been raised for the Sean Cox appeal.
Volunteers needed: collection for Sean Cox, Anfield, Saturday 27th October
Spirit of Shankly are organising a collection for Seán Cox at the game against Cardiff City at Anfield on Saturday 27 October, and we need volunteers to help on the day.

Questions about the club stopping tickets
Since the weekend match versus Southampton, and subsequent social media posts, supporters have contacted us complaining about problems entering Anfield. It appears tickets have been stopped from working, having been identified as part of ticketing investigations. Supporters, who are none the wiser to this, are asked for ID, told new cards will be sent out or in some cases the tickets are under investigation.
Let’s not make the same mistake
Anticipation for for this season’s Champions League draw on Thursday 30 August is already huge, with supporters ready to make plans. But mixed with excitement is the dread that some of the issues travelling fans faced last season will be repeated.
SOS meeting Tracey Crouch MP
As the government’s review of safe standing at football matches continues, Spirit Of Shankly accepted an invitation to meet Minister for Sport, Tracey Crouch MP. This was an informal meeting, so that the Minister could hear our views and give us an update on government activity on the subject.
Member ticket sales need fixing once and for all
Problems surrounding today’s online members sale from the club, as well as those in previous days, have left many supporters frustrated and angry.This has become an annual event.
